From 11–18 August 2026 I will be in Monterey for Car Week.

During the week I will be visiting the auctions, concours events and spending time with fellow Jaguar enthusiasts.

One of the highlights of the week will be meeting fellow Jaguar enthusiast Richard Michael Owen. Like me, he values originality and enjoys looking beyond the obvious details of each individual E-Type.

One of the real pleasures of Monterey is finding Jaguars that have escaped restoration. They often reveal details that no restored example can preserve.

Looking inside an original cockpit often tells you as much about a car’s history as looking underneath it. These are exactly the kinds of details I enjoy discussing with owners.
