Description
An exceptionally rare original Jaguar E-Type Series 1 3.8 instrument gauge panel featuring the distinctive cross-hatch aluminium finish.
This particular finish was used during a relatively short period of E-Type production, approximately from late 1962 to late 1963.
The panel retains its authentic cross-hatch surface pattern, correct flat sides and original openings for the instruments, switches and controls.
Its excellent overall condition makes it particularly desirable for an originality-focused restoration. Genuine surviving panels of this type are exceptionally difficult to source, especially with such a well-preserved surface.
Condition: Excellent original condition, with minor age-related marks as photographed.
Application: Jaguar E-Type Series 1 3.8, approximately late 1962 to late 1963. Confirm suitability against the individual vehicle.
